Pond Supplies

Depending on the particular design aspects of your water garden, there can be any number of required pond supplies. Basic items like liners, skimmers and aerators can be found on nearly every backyard pond. However, there are a variety of other supplies and accessories that can be used in addition to these basic items.

Pond supplies often include pumps and filters, especially if you have a waterfall. These items help circulate and aerate the water, which keeps the water clean and helps maintain healthy aquatic life, flora or fauna. Even without a waterfall, a pump and filtration system is usually recommended.

Many pond supplies have little to nothing to do with the actual pond itself. Accessories like bridges and walkways are quite popular, as are unique lighting designs. Romanesque statues are also common pond accessories.
